Lanka Education and Research Network (LEARN) is the National Research and Education Network (NREN) of Sri Lanka. A National Research and Education Network (NREN) is a specialized Internet Service Provider (ISP) dedicated to support the needs of the research and education communities within a country, and it is distinguished by support for a high-speed backbone network, often offering dedicated channels for individual research projects, in addition to providing many other services.
LEARN is currently implementing a project - Building e-learning Infrastructure in South Asian Countries (BeLISAC) as a co-affiliate from Sri Lanka. The project aims to develop e-learning infrastructure in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. To bring more women into the ICT industry, the project has included an internship dedicated to the capacity building of women engineers which help to prepare them for their professional carrier in system and network environments.
Applications are hereby invited from citizens of Sri Lanka for the Intern - System/Network positions in our office located at the University of Peradeniya. This is three months structured internship program.
Requirements

Recently graduated or final year bachelor’s student in Electronics and Communication Engineering, ComputerEngineering, or Computer Science and Information Technology.

Basic Knowledge of Linux and Networking.

Strong Interpersonal skills and should have the ability to multitask.

Quick learner and should have a strong drive to achieve results and improve performance.
Salary & Benefits
